Can I take Efamol Evening Primrose Oil alongside a fish oil supplement?Updated a day ago

Yes! Efamol Evening Primrose Oil can generally be taken alongside an omega-3 fish oil supplement, as they provide different types of fatty acids that complement one another.

How do they work together?

  • Evening Primrose Oil is a natural source of Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), an omega-6 fatty acid involved in the body's normal fatty acid metabolism and cell signalling processes.

  • Fish oil provides the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and vision, while EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function.*

Taking both can be a convenient way to include a wider range of omega fatty acids in your daily supplement routine.

Is there anything I should be aware of?
